A lot of good things to do in North Carolina often start in the summer months. But fortunately for the community of Currituck in the Outer Banks, events in spring are held and well attended. In the month of May the Spring Food and Wine Festival is something worth seeing before summer comes. Also located in this eastern region of North Carolina are both historical sites and wildlife sanctuaries, something not to miss while down in the Outer Banks.

North Carolina barbeque and seafood are available year round especially with the tourist season beginning in spring. Sandwich shops and bakeries make fresh baked goods daily to the public. For the kid at heart and their kids are the old fashioned ice cream parlors harkening back to a more simple time. For couples who want to get married, an outdoor wedding at Currituck would be the perfect setting.

In conclusion, the community of Currituck, North Carolina is more than willing to welcome people during the spring months. The whole family would enjoy the local charm and southern hospitality that would lend to a lifetime of memories.
